Why is Model United Nations so important for us?

Hi everyone;
It is my greatest honour to share my opinions about globality.This year has been a year which the changes on the notion of the world as we know appeared in an unignorably way then it ever has. We, as the important part of our world, try to find suitable solutions for the issues that affect our world because we will undertake as the future leaders of our world. For example; with two major voting in two different continents, one has already taken place with unpredictable consequences an done will in following months, will of people has never been this significant for the entire planet.

Why is Model United Nations so important for us?

Our today’s world is getting bigger because of that it faces many problems such as political, cultural and so on. We, as the humanity, were created to think and live in peace with together. All of us has different points about the issues; this is the reason why we all are different from each other and United Nations makes a difference and makes us whole again.The diversified points cause problems and wars but while we are trying to solve these problems; the peace and cooperation is the most significant determinant. Although; we have different points; our main purpose is living within peace. United Nations provides to cooperation all of the countries about their policies in order to make our world great again. Especially; acknowledge that we are all equal. Martin Luther King emphasizes the importance of equality with idiom is ’’I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character”.

United Nations maintain international peace and security, and to that end to take effective collective measures for the prevention and removal of threats to the peace. Especially; United Nations develop friendly relations among nations based on respect for the principle of equal right and self-determination of people’s. To make it clear; United Nations’ the most significant aim is achieving international cooperation in solving international problems such as economic, social, cultural or humanitarian character, in promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and for fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sexuality, language, or religion. Moreover; Victor Hugo emphasizes the importance of equality and fair with idiom is” Being good is easy what is difficult is being just.” We, as the basic part of our world, should be aware of the equality and maintain it during our life process.

Last but not least I would like to mention about cooperation’ position in our life. What is cooperation and how does it affect our lives? Everyone has different points but generally, it means; voluntarily arrangement in which two or more entities engage in a mutually beneficial exchange instead of competing and cooperation can happen where resources adequate for both parties exist or are created by their interaction. For example; if we think our daily lives; we can obviously observe that we always get help from the people, foundations or whatever thing which around us. Maybe; you will think; have we ever done a thing by ourselves; of course, we do lots of things but we need to help in order to do it better and develop our workings. In addition; United Nations work with it’s sub-bodies in order to achieve the targets which aim to create a better world. Despond Tutu emphasizes the significance of cooperation and association with idiom is”My humanity is bound up in yours, for we can only be human together.”

All in all; the importance of equality and cooperation appears obviously in our life process. We should live adopting equality and cooperation as a first principle in our lives. Because we; as the humanity; undertake as the leaders of our world and aim that making our world great again by doing our best. Lastly; I hope you enjoyed reading my article.
