It is our utmost pleasure to invite you to the first-ever session of BI Model United Nations Conference which will be held between 22nd and 24th of January 2019, Antalya, Turkey.

BIMUN is a high school level MUN conference which is going to be actualized by a group of students with willing of contributing to the world’s progression while aiming to become qualified persons. This expectation will be fulfilled with the help of our highly experienced Academic Advisors from New York University, Bocconi University and many others. Moreover, Academic and Organization team of the BIMUN’19 are consist of successful and executively experienced MUNers.

Since we want to interact with as many people as we can, we have designated 4 different committees for every single level: JCC: The Cuban Missile Crisis (ADVANCED), The Turkish Invasion of Cyprus (UPPER INTERMEDIATE), United Nations Security Council (INTERMEDIATE) and High Commissioner for Refugees (BEGINNER).

Also, during our conference participants will be able to benefit from our lunch service and convenient accommodation occasions. Despite all these features and the offer of spending 3 days in Antalya, our early application fee is only 70 TL.

  1. When and where will the BIMUN happen?

Model United Nations of BI Conference 2019 will be held between 22 – 24 January 2019 in Antalya.

  1. How much is the fee for the conference?

The individual delegate fee without accommodation is set as 70 Turkish Liras while the early application period. Check out bimun19.org/applications for more information.

  1. How many participants will there be at the BIMUN?

The Conference’s expected participant number is approximately 200 to 300.

  1. How long will the conference last?

According to our schedule, our conference will be lasting for 3 days.

  1. Is accommodation included in the fee?

Participation fees with accommodation will be announced soon.

  1. To what airport should I fly to when coming to BIMUN?

Fraport TAV Antalya Airport (AYT)

  1. What are the committees and agenda?

Our Secretariat has designated 4 committees which are going to be UNHCR, UNSC, a specialized crisis cabinet and a joint crisis committee. According to our currently having a number of applications, one more committee will probably be added. (For designated agenda items of our committees, please check out from their pages.)

  1. What are three MUST SEE places in Antalya around the venue?

Antalya is full of touristic attractions as our venue is very close to a lot of MUST-SEE places in Antalya. Our participants are recommended to see Antalya Marina, Kaleici and Antalya Saat Kulesi.

  1. What is the application deadline for the conference?

Our Early Application Period ends on 11th of November but a deadline for application process has not yet been set.
